Virender Sehwag Biography;

Virender Sehwag is a one of the famous Indian cricketer and a important member of the Indian National Cricket Team since 1999. Nicknamed 'Veeru' by teammates and fans, Virendar Sehwag was born on 20th October, 1978 in Delhi. Born into a joint family, Sehwag father name is Krishan and Krishna Sehwag. He did his schooling from Arora Vidya School but since childhood, his first interest remained cricket, which he developed over the years playing an Indian cricket star.

Exceptionally talented and audacious, Virendra Sehwag is a devastating right-handed batsman, brilliantly hand-eye co-ordination, fabulous timing, and a perfect situation. His idol being Sachin Tendulkar, Virender too plays the straight drive, backfoot punch and whip off the identical hips to the little master's. Sehwag is also an effective right-arm off-spin bowler and an agile slip-fielder is called like All Rounder.

His bowling best is 3/25 against South Africa. Playing 14 World Cup matches, he has scored 463 runs, with a high score of 114 against Bermuda. His bowling is in the world cup 2/17 against Bangladesh.

Virendra Sehwag has won numerous awards for his cricket, including the prestigious Arjuna Award in 2002, several Man of the Series Awards in Tests and Man of the Match Awards in both Tests and ODI matches.
